 Zhang was borin in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province of China. After graduated from the university, Zhang got a lot of working experience involved in many different fields, such as engineering science, business management and security investment etc. He got the Ph. D degree of Economics from Fudan University in 2002 and then worked in the postdoctoral station of Peking University in 2005.
During the period of Ph. D study, His research focus is corporate governance, stock price and information economics. His doctoral dissertation: ¡°Stock Prices and the Provision of Managerial Compensation Packages¡±, and postdoctoral dissertation: ¡°Institutional investor and corporate governance¡± have been appraised as the Excellent Thesis.
Zhang conducted his team to do lots of research projects for governments and enterprises, specializing enterprise diagnosis, strategy planning and corporate capital operation design. He has been paying attention to the development of China¡¯s social security system for years, especially the mutual insurance mechanism.
